the chemical brothers throughout their successful career have managed to avoid rap in their own productions.

Unfortunately, on their latest album "Push the Button" they seem to have rapping on "galvanize". Not only that, but its the first song ive heard from them that isnt original.

Anybody else disappointed by this?

No different to having Noel gallagher, tim burgess beth orton or any other of the guest vocalists they have had in the past to be honest.

I have opened up to several different styles of music but i just cant get into Rap or RnB.

So dont tell me to open up to it.

First of all, the Chemical Brothers love hip hop and they have for a long time so it is only natural that they have hip hop influences in their productions.

Second, this isn't even the first Chemicals Brothers track to have a rapper on vocals. Unless I am unaware of some track from back in the day, the Chems first track with rap vocals was Get Yourself High feat. K-Os, which came out in 2003.

Third, Galvanize is the best track on the CD.

And lastly, Q-Tip is one of the greatest MCs of all-time.

i thought it was a pretty good song. its not like hes talking about bitches and rolling in his benz with 20s. anyways, if its good enough for sasha then its good enough for me.

yup i enjoyed that song too, despite it being hip hop
