anyone know how fast a normal person walks? im thinkin about taking a long walk, and i wanna know how much time im gonna need.

well, id be walking from norfolk VA to Jamestown NY, its about 500 miles. 16*3=48

500/48 a little under 11 days, sheesh

3mph is about right, although that's a little fast/hard to maintain. i think it's more like 2.6mph
there's a formula for it.

thats walking non stop for 16 hours a day and then sleeping for 8 I take it?
