Do these have a problem with some of the newer games? A few of us here have x-box's that have trouble playing games alla Halo 1 / 2, some of the newer games as well tend to fuck up when playing. You can play games like Splinter Cell all the way through (s.c. 1 at least), but other's cause problems.

Halo gives us that "disc is either dirty or scratched", don't see how when the disc is brand new.

It's a few of us w/ the problem (all older x-box's) and for some reason, everywhere we go they're out of the newer ones. So are we fucked or what. A

Anyway to fix these shits besides just buying one of the newer X-box's. Anybody else have this problem? Or are we just fucked.

I do believe that if you call support, you can talk them into upgrading (fixing?) your XBox. Of course you'd have to send it in and spend some time XBox-less...

probably something to do with the laser or firmware etc

Looks like everybody have problems with old x-boxes,power supply,laser,HD...looks like all X-boxes is good in couple of years...I can bet that they are made in China...
