do you mean s3000?
Pitch accuracy and scratch emulation are both better on the cdj800 than the denon s1000. There is no contest if you mean the s1000, it has the be the cdj800 everytime (of course its considerably more expensive)
The more suitable comparison is cdj 800 vs denon s3000. s3000 has more accurate pitch within +/-4% bands, but i'd say the scratch emulation on the pioneer cdj's is second to none (possibly cdx, but i have never seen it action)
The s1000 does not have a spinning platter, it also is not a fair comparison to the cdj800 seeing as they are not even in the same price range.
The s3000 is a fair comparison to the cdj800, and it does have a spinning platter (I have owned both the dns3000 and the cdj800 by the way)
You seem very confused, I would wait and research things a bit more before you blow your cash away.

I'm a Denon X1500 lover, and I'd say go for the CDJs, out of all the CD decks I'm messed/played on Pioneers I find really comfortable to play on.

Out of those two, from what I've seen, I'd recommend the Pioneers as well. The pioneer equivalent of the DNS1000 would probably be closer to a CDJ100, as the CDJ800's are way above the DNS1000's. Also, don't forget to try things out in a store to see which feels better to you before you buy something online without ever feeling it and regret the decision.

Thats the most important thing, I thought the Denons could be good for me, on paper there very impressive, but when I started using them, I soon found I didn't like them.
