Who is behind the remix of it that's from their greatest hits album and movies among the likes of the original Blade.
I believe it is the pump panel reconstruction mix or something along those lines but was it something done by New Order or does someone else deserve the credit for this masterpiece

Pump Panel is behind it, of course. They're an acid techno production team.

Funny, I've often wondered about the same tune
And I still have no answer for ya
Well, Cobalt's reply has a Discogs link to Pump Panel, just look more closely. Pump Panel consists of Tim Taylor, Cari Lekebusch, Alexi Delano & Dan Zamani. They all work behind several aliases.
The Pump Panel crew actually made 2 different remixes of Confusion, a pumping one and a more flowing one. The remixes came originally out back in '95.

I find this thread funny. I also find his reply hilarious. Mortyman's reply also adds to it.
Oh well, bye.

Dance The Planet by DJ Taylor & Flow is another wicked acid anthem. bouncy hardcore beats and tremendous acid sounds... A little like Uberdruck style.
Geezer, Choci, Junk Project, Nuclear Hyde and Solar Quest does some pumping acidous techno sounds too.

Because the first 303 utilising track was called Acid Trax, and it also has something to do with the heavy use of acid the drug associated with the sound.
