If Final Scratch works fine, than don't worry about it. Most people find Serato performs better. IE, lower latency, less crashes and dropouts.

And Rane have never been found to cover up problems in their equipment. In fact, their customer service is legendary.

I've owned fs 1.1 in the past, and had nothing but stability problems w/ many different pcs w/ different chipsets. So i tried a different scratch amp on my pc with no problems. Then i tried to contact Stanton to request a RMA but they didn't return my e-mails for over a month so i returned it and that was the end of that. As for SSL, no problems whatsoever. Audio quality is much better than fs 1.1, stability is great, you can get actual tech support responses from people at rane and serato on their forum within hours if not minutes, and i can now backspin.

If fs works, keep it. But if you want something better all around, then switch to ssl.

I read a review done by multiple famous scratch djs and they ranked serato better than FS 2.

On the scratchlive.net board Ive noticed a good number of people that owned fs 2.0 sold it for ssl. And on the Native instrument's board, i haven't seen anyone that sold their ssl for fs 2.0
