I also feel that your clap is not too snappy; try layering your clap/snare samples and compress each with low thresholds, high attacks and low releases, that should give it more of a snap. The bassline is okay, nothing too wrong with it, however I'm sure you can make better one.
That melody which is introduced in 1:28 minutes into the clip, I like it's attack and releases are of high values, it's a nice sound, however maybe you can increase it's reverb and put the attack all the way down every now and then to give it a plucky sound, would give you variety of sounds from the same synth, check it out.
Another thing, try to take advantage of stereo panning, if it's done properly the overall quality would be better and it never hurts to automate an extra sound property.
Great work m8, keep it up
Hey man thanks for the feedback,very techicall,exactly what i was looking .
What I used,FL,for bass Ravity and vanguard layereds,the sound you liked it is ravity,the piano also is ravity,for the Fx I used vanguard heavily retouched with effects to make it sound like that.
I have not mastered yet this with a sound editor,just with the FL plugins and effects,I am giving the last touches then I will begin to play with it on soundforge .
Kopi =o.
ps: what have you used to produce your tune? |
