first off, this is not a tech support forum, but ill give you a few pointers anyways. you can hook your cable modem up to any coax connection in your house, even if its off a splitter to feed the modem and a TV. move your router as far away from any other electrical devices as you can, TVs, computers, cordless phones, etc. you might wanna try putting your router up a little higher, like on a shelf or something. these might get you an additional 5-15% signal. if you need more, move the router and modem to a central location in your house a family room or something that is right in the middle of all the computers and put wireless cards on all.
