Is there any other way in FL5 for vsti automation than using record button?

you can just edit event cant you?

go to an empty pattern, open up the vst you want to automate, right click on whichever function you want to do this to (ie. lo pass filter) and select Edit Events, then you can draw a timescale graph of how the dial will move.

then place that event in the sequencer window

yes you cans till draw automation. theres also a few new ways of doing automation in flp5 open the help via pressing f1 and then type in automation

Twiddle the knob which you want to automate, go to Plugin Options (top-left of the VSTi window), highlight Last Tweaked Parameter and then you can choose to Edit Events or create one of those lovely, little Automation Clips.
