Ok, so a friend of mine approached me today to enquire about recording internet radio streams. He wanted me to do a quick survey on what programs people on here would hypothetically use if they were to record an internet radio stream. Specifically, he wanted to know about one with a scheduler, say if someone wanted to theoretically start a recording at 3am and have it go until 5am, which program would be able to do this easily and free, in this hypothetical scenario??

cement shoes work pretty good

yeah i would say for winamp use Streamripper...but it doesn't have something you can set to record. there's another program that costs about 11 dollars to download but it will record any type of stream...video or audio and you can set it like a VCR. unfortunately i dont remember the name but i saw it in an issue of BPM...i can check for ya when i get home. pm me if that sounds of any use to you
