Need Help Pitchshifting Delays on a VST

I desperately am trying to figure out a technique that I read about for hardware FXs but I'm making this very difficult on myself.

I'm trying to pitchshift a delayed a line both a single delay(which is simple) and a multiple delay. But when your pithshifting on a multiple delay how can you pitch each succeeding delay either pitched Up or Down on a VST?

Confused

I know this is not exactly what you are looking for, but you could try automating filter cutoff on the delay line to produce a similar effect, I believe.

Nope...

I want to bring my pitched delay to either the lowest of lows or the highest of highs.

Hmmm, difficult. You could bounce it and then make a pitch-reduction (with time correction) e.g. in cool-edit.

well there is a plugin called PSP lexicon 42 that can handle this with ease. it has an LFO which lets you pitch shift the delays to higher or lower notes..pretty cool. It might be a little costly though...another option would be to(if your using cubase), is to record your riff or whatever and then use the pitch shift function. You can do this by using the envelope pitch shift by drawing your line up or down or whatever way you like.
