[psytrance / breaks] ban jankri - the source

Hi !

here's my lastest track, some psytrance with a portion of breakbeat and a bit of tribadelic athmosphere grooving at 130 bpm.

bitrate: 192 kbit
length: 5:38
size: 7.8 mb
download: http://www.banjankri.de/tracks/the_source.mp3

what are your opinions on this mixture ?

This is really really good man! Enjoyed it a lot!
Props for the originality, can defiantly hear the influences of psy trance here…Love all effects and little sounds here and there. Great use of vocals!
Well the only critic I might have for you is try to add another layer of synth or something after at about 3:00…because it does get a little repetitive after awhile.
But still, this is a solid tune, really liked what you did here…well done!

What did you use to produce this btw?

thanx a lot for reviewing

well, actually this track is in an early beta if not alpha status.
intro and outro, 8-9 min duration, more percussions and rhythmic variation and better mixing/mastering are on the to do list. but as i liked the result of the first "pass" I wanted to get some opinions of this unusual mixture of styles.

I made this track with Fruity Loops 4, Vanguard and Wasp Synthesizers.

Geil!
I just love it. Dark and trippy, exactly how I like my Psy. So many elements working together in such an effective way. Great use of FX, they work very well together. There doesn't seem to happen so much but there is subtle interchange that doesn't let this become any boring at all. Outstanding work, can't criticize anything on your track.

One more thing: Get me that final version asap!!

edit: I'm listening to it again and again... and I have to say this is really one of the best Psy-Track I've heard in a long time... You'd be insane not to get this one! ... and If you're an insane Psyaddict you should get it more than ever

It could use some acid, if nothing else. Otherwise, it's excellent in it's trippyness.

4:14 is crazy. There's no other way to describe it. You sir, must be an insane man.

5:06 is awesome, bringing everything back in right there.

Very trippy track. It makes for some enjoyable psy.

i think this is really good, and look foward to the full length version. although i would prefer it at 140 bpm

Very psychadelic, but also very repetative. I love the slow trancy feel. 4:14, if it were "cleaned up" a bit, would be fucking cool. I love the experimental/IDM elements. To me, nothing beats the psy/IDM combo. I agree with thoughtlessjex that this could use some acid leads. This could be one killer track.
