question about synth-line

I've been trying to produce stuff in Reason on and off for about a year now, and I'm not really having too much success. People have told me before that they like the music that I make, but the problem is that I never ever finish songs. I mean I don't even come close.

Anyways, the point of this post is mainly to just re-introduce myself to the forums (was away for a few years) and to ask for any thoughts or advice on this synth-line that I made a while ago.

PsycoEwok - Grungey (no, there's no percussion, just this one synth line. Obviously the gaps would be filled in a finished song)

My main question is what genre could this fit in to? I was thinking maybe goatrance or psytrance since it's so dark and dirty, but could it even really fit into those?

Of course, any other thoughts or suggestions about it are welcome too.

That goes into old school rave style... I can hear the beats behind it...

MAN that's wicked...

If made correctly this would be signed into movies and shit :P (mortal kombat style)

After that sample you posted, 16 bars of beats/bass come in with it, and then 16 bars later a wicked detuned lead comes in over it with some kind of person chanting stabs every 4 or 8 bars... Ahhh, the possibilities are endless!

Cool, thanks for the suggestions

As I said though, I never seem to finish any music I've ever worked on. Though this particular sound is one of my best that I've made, so I'm not going to give up on it so easily cause I'd really love to hear this in a song. Sounds good enough to me to be in one.
