Your only chance of making a living out of this would be to get 3-4 smash hits in a short period of time (<1 year), build up some hype, and then try to get a really good DJ agency that can hook you up with some well paying gigs. From there of course you'll have to keep up the momentum, play a lot of flawless sets, and continue producing quality material.
In order to get to this point you're talking about (tens of)thousands of dollars invested in records, dj equipment, production software/hardware.
In other words: don't quit your day job.
