midaV - Shadow ... String Composition

Worked up another string composition within the past few days except this only consists of strings, pads, and violins...no percussion. It's just under two minutes long and has a lot more .... character (?) then my previous productions.

cool use of flang on the strings

the piano isn't very clear..

composition is ok.. could have a better melody, though.. it just keeps going.. repitition isn't a bad thing in classical compositions.. look at Beehtoven's Ode to Joy.. it's basically the same thing for 17 mins yet it's one of his greatest works

The piano can sound really hard sometimes, like if someone had hit the keys with a hammer... this to me sounds like something that would be played ever-so-gently. I would back the strings down and maybe pan them out a little more, and put more focus on the piano while softening it some (velocity wise). Good piece though. I likes =)
