Midi Keyboard

hi,
im just wondering while stuffing around with reason and cubase SX i can not use my ideas to my potential.

so does this mean if i were to buy a MIDI keyboard and use it with reason with also REWIRE, i would be able to produce my tracks easier and better because i can transfer my ideas in real time.

is this how its works for you or do some of you produce with no keyboard (me at the moment).

cheers please comment

Basically yea. I started out with no keyboard and wasn't able to make any good melodies cuz i wasn't used to using a step sequencer and it pissed me off looking at the keyboard on the left all sideways n shit.
Now i got me a 61keys and its soo much easier to translate my ideas. ALso helps if you have know a little about chords and progression, what notes sounds good etc.. heres some nice links to help ya out with notes and chords/scales.

this one is my favhttp://www.looknohands.com/chordhouse/piano/
Chord progression generator
for that one just keep hitting refresh or regenerate on bottom to get a new key

enjoy

can you play piano at all?

definitely worth the effort to get a real keyboard imo.
