CDJ1000 Cueing

I'll be using the CDJ1000's tonight for the first time. So I'm not fiddling around looking goofy up there, what's the best/logical/easiest way to cue these big boys up.

Any other tips for a 1st time user would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

make sure there in CDJ mode and they'll cue up just like any other cd player. TBH the vinyl mode is rubbish for cueing anyway.

Scratch over the beat and press CUE... Not too much other ways to do it otherwise I think

Whenever I use the CDJs I always use Vinyl mode, just grab the platter, move it to just before the beat (like what you would do with vinyl) and then just press the cue button, BINGO, press play and your in business.

or you can just use the "In" loop button while the track is playing to set a cue point, and then correct to your liking. the display in the center of the jog with the small bar increments is a good guide for placement.
