Wow, awesome fun! We had a great time, shot a ton of pictures. It was sweet meeting B&J, Kristina Sky, and dancing until it hurts. Now I know why we're on the old side for these things, it whoops your ass!

The drive up from San Diego was gnarly due to the storm, but traffic still flowed well getting us there just at 10 PM. Seriously, I don't know what the heck was going on with the organization of the event - we were outside still at 10:40ish going "uhhhh, are we ever gonna get in? Did we get screwed on this VIP thing?" but we'd gotten the inside track on where "VIP" access would be setup and were second to get the wrist bands once they finally figured out what they were doing, we got in relatively quickly. However they list the dude had was long and it was NOT going to be a smooth process, and considering they didn't even start giving admission out to people who had pre-purchased until 15 minutes to 11, I bet a lot of people were very unhappy about that!

The drive back to San Diego even crazier. The rain came down harder than being in the middle of a car wash, with lightning everywhere, flooding, mayhem. Saw a car all busted up and spunout in the middle of an underpass - no blinkers going just debris everywhere, then later the freeway was closed and they just kicked us off with no signs of where the heck to go.

But it didn't matter, none of it. The crazy rain, the near accidents, the standing outside waiting to get in, the getting home just as my kids woke up.. It was soooooo totally worth it!!

I just have one question - how long until I can hear normal again!?!?!

The show before Heaven ran late and getting everything set up took a while for us (extra stuff because of Skyko's live set, anniversary etc.).

Really sorry about the whole line thing. Things didn't work out at all like we planned. Lots of security issues.... Doing the will call/guest list was interesting, to say the least This was our biggest event and definitely learned a lot of things the hard way....Now we know what to expect next time we have a big event like this and hopefully don't make the same mistakes....

Getting in sucked but it was worth it to have the club so packed.

It was nice putting some faces to the TAs here too (sweet candy girl, technofriik, dj bass etc)

I got a few good pics too so I'll post these when I get back home on Monday.

So I've got a little story, too...

Meeting and greeting Blank and Jones was cool. I was bummed there was no merchandise (don't people want my money?) - I had planned on getting a shirt and a CD and getting them signed, but since I didn't have that.. well, I put my knee up and asked them to sign my pants. I mean, what the hell, why not, y'know? How often am I going to wear these white pants, bought specifically for the party? (uhhh, never)

So I say "Hey, could you sign my pants??" and Blank looks at me and says "Really?".. "Yeah!" Blank:"You sure?" "Yeah!" So they go on to sign it.. While that's going on I tell them that Watching the Waves is my all time #1 favorite trance song (which is true, especially the Moon remix. I could loop that song for hours). As you know, about halfway through the set, they played Watching the Waves.. I have that song so ingrained in my head I recognized it from the 1st 3 notes and started yelling with the arms in the air 'cause I was stoked.. At this point the crowd at large hadn't picked up on the song yet.. I was about 3 rows back from the stage and I swear Blank looked at me and pointed back with a big grin. I thought that was sweet.

Now, could be my own imagination, after a couple drinks, that they were playing it for me.. But hey, it's my story and I like it that way.

haha what a cool story! yeah i wasn't there tho heh. hmm i wonder if all those people not wearing white felt a little out of place? they should have had free white t's to hand out just to keep the atmosphere going

WOW.. OMG WOW....

Last night was the best night at Heaven all year. The music was top Notch from start to finish.. Well all most I tought some of Skyko stuff was a litte to hard but he was doing it live and that was dope.
When Blank and Jones came on the palce went off. There was such an awsome amount of energy and such a great vibe last night. It was nice seeing the so many people in white as well. Blank and Jones where Amazing. I thought this set was better then the one they did at the Mayan. So much enery and such awesome tracks. I danced my ass off and could not stop smileing.
The only thing I was bummed about was missing the meet and greet with Blank and Jones other then that last night was Awesome

John- Welcome Back soo good to see that you made the trip out.
Dan- People call me hard core.. I think that title belongs to you Good seeing you.

Can't say much except that it was a fuckin awesome night! B&J had the crowd going the whole time, this was the best I've seen the fans at a Heaven event be. They dropped major tunage and had me dancing my ass off all night. This was the most packed I've ever seen Heaven and the 80% white all around really set the atmosphere. I'm still recooperating from my long ass night and I'm dead tired. Orbital, it was nice to see you again and all the way from AZ, hardcore mang! And of course, just like everytime I'm at Heaven, Tigo and both Michelle's, always nice seeing you guys.

Bomb ass night last night!

I think they mixed a little of "Heaven (can wait)" in because I remember the "Heaveeen.." vocals..

You know, I recognized a helluva lot more while I was there, but it's already turned into a bit of a blur. lol. In the middle of Mind of the Wonderful they cut the audio and the crowd finished the lyrical verse, which was sweet.
