Haven't listened to any mix for ages so i can't remember which ones have vocals and which not but the one you are talking about might be The Thrillseekers feat. Sheryl Deane - Synaesthesia (Thrillseekers Club Mix) from 2000. Also PvD did both vocal and instrumental mixes.

Thanks ill check it out...still think dj's should play this over the original, they both rule but the vocal version has way more energy and "croud blaze" potential
Thrillseekers Club Mix IS known as the original as there was never released a version titled "Original Mix". En-Motion Mix is by far the best version tho and most used i think.

grim, i have to disagree with you, en-motion mix is known as the original version, the thrillseekers club mix is the crappy vocal mix

Hehe, i've always kept it as "the" remix.

Its like when vocals got added to the fragma mix, i think that was more cheesy.
Its just now everytime i hear the Synaethesia i need to hear the vocals or it dosnt sound complete : /
Armins all up for his vocal stuff so donnt know why he dosnt play that mix when he plays it at all.

Synaethesia (Fly Away) used to get it confused with Vincent De Moor - Fly Away

Sorry, but I strongly disagree. I'm generally a fan of well-done vocal trance. The Synaesthesia vocal isn't well-done. They turn the track into a shite radio-friendly eurotrance song. I'm not saying the original is some deep progressive masterpiece, but the vocal version just puts it waay over the top, just like the 4 Strings vocal mixes, for cash-in purposes.
