Arrow playing at Eternal friday night

Damn..for a while couldnt log in...screwy ass Julioistic site.

Anyways Jojo asked me to come out do do a 3 hour set friday night from midnight to 3am. Depending on how many people show up depends how much I get paid if anything. I aint doing it for the money, a few people wanted to see me play again and since I work sat nights figured just do this for the opportunity. Not much of anotice, but tryin to get the word out.

Cover is only $5, the last time I went there on Friday they were having some cheap drink specials like $2 you call its including long island ice teas so that was kinda cool. Anyways, JoJo wanted me to play more of the trancier type stuff that Dave and James play, but its honestly gonna depend on what is workin best with the crowd. If the place is rockin at midnight I'll mix right on into the faster stuff. If I gotta build it up, not a problem either. I know I say this everytime but this time I PROMISE to have some new CDs, made a new one that I havent been able to upload since my computer cant connect to the net, so I will burn as many as I can starting today.

Hope to see you guys out

Jojo seriously needs to just let the DJ do his thing and not tell them what kind of music to play. If he wants to hear "trancier" stuff then just simply get a trance dj to play it. I just can't see you playing the same type of stuff and Dave and James play your style is more pr0ggy and I think that you are damn good at it.

Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. - Timothy Leary

Damn and I'm going to be out of town so I won't be able to make it. Well good luck and make sure to get tracklist. I'm always interested to see how it evolves. I know you remember Kimball Collins and how the crowd responded to certain thing that I think you wouldn't normally play.

truth be told while most of my material could be pigeonholed as progressive, its not the only stuff I play. While I dont really play th 140-144bpm style trance anymore, I have alot of material that would work for a set flowing around 134-138ish. His wanting me to play more "trancier" stuff was more of a recommendation rather than an order, since I'm most likely not getting compensated I can still play pretty much whatever I want. It'll all depend on the crowd as far as how I build it up n whatnot.

Thanks to those who said they would see about making it out, I wont let you guys down

So you're playing Peter's spot on Friday? I haven't talked to him in a couple of days, something must be up.

Yes Eternal is 18+, and it's on 6th street in Austin. Only a couple of blocks up from the I35 end.
