Best EDM Drums

what are the best programs/vst's etc. (not samples...or if samples, recommend some damn good ones lol) for quality drums to use in EDM music.

I love Steinberg/Waldorf's Attack VSTi. Although it's an older VSTi, it still can produce some great analog-ish drum sounds.

For EDM drum samples, you can't go wrong with a sample CD, such as Blister Pak. It has a large variety of EDM drum samples.

I've never been able to get good sounding drums out of attack. They just sound so clipped and weak.

Your better off getting a bunch of samples and layering them to get something distinctive. The 909 and 808 kits have been used to death and imho dont stack up to what you can make with your own samples given a little time and patience.
