You will be prompted to enter a http://www.rogers.com user ID and password. Please note, this may be a different user ID and password than the one used to access your Rogers Yahoo! portal. After signing in, select "View Internet Usage" from the customer service menu to access the tool.

On the first offence they send u a letter, on the 2nd (within a year) they cut you off (but if you call and ask to be re-instated you will be) - and - on the 3rd - you're cut off from using Rogers internet for a year.

well that's 2GB/day so it's not horrible..... but just the idea of being limited sucks. I guess it probably will speed up the typical Rogers user's browsing/downloading experience.

i am not afraid of rogers!

I give it a month or so tops before Sympatico has an equivalent restriction back in place. If they don't adopt it voluntarily, they will be forced to by the migration of Rogers users over to Bell that will begin clogging their network.

60 gigs isn't that bad...

i dunno, 2gigs/day isnt very much. I average about 100gigs download and 50upload a month! im glad im with sympatico.

BT did mess them up big time. Cogeco also was ravaged by BT, and my buddy(who lives in hamilton and had Cogeco) did a little research on the topic, this is what he wrote me:

I'm with Rogers (not by choice as I dont use a landline here at my place & just use a cell phone for calls)& I don't use that much per month but it sux for others here you have to use the internet a hell of a lot more then myself.
