no i was saying that because it read like an obvious troll, ie a post designed to make people argue about which events/venues are crap, and which are great, since, if you hang around here long, you'll realise that one person's awesome event/company is another persons sellout/failure.
the short version of the story is this:
australian cities, and melbourne and sydney in particular, have superb dance music 'scenes' that belie their size and geographic location. tell us what kind of music you like, and what kind of party you prefer, and when you wanted to go (im assuming youre from a place far from bris/melb/syd?) and there's a pretty good chance we'll be able to line you up with more worthwhile events than your wallet and body can handle. 
anyone who's lived in another major non-european city will back me up when I say that australia's dance music and dance party scene is absolutely ace...
