Dancing Dude [Trance] CeDSoFt - Flying To The Blue Horizon [192Kb Full]

Hi !

Here is my first prod posted in this forum

It's a Trance song (really ???) which I've composed with FL Studio recently and I've tried to compose a beautiful melody.

This is the first time I've used the compressors like this (3 in effect send)

I've used :
2 Z3TA+
2 Vanguard
1 Systrus
1 rythm loop from Reason
...

Link :

Obviously...your comments are welcome

See ya

CeD

Hey mate,

I'm listening to the track now, so I'll give you some feedback as I listen to the track.

The first thing I just noticed, is that at the 0:30 minute just when the kick comes in, some clipping takes place, you should try to fix that.

The melody is beautiful man!! I respect melodies like this.

shamefully after a while it gets too repetitive, the track needs definately more variation.

intro melody sounds a little too "random" if you know what i mean. kinda like you've just been out on a "note-placing spree". the track needs a more structure, and as the guy before me said, it sounds like it's clipping here and there. the chord melody isn't very crisp or clear-sounding, work more on the sound quality. a tune like this should be both pumping AND clear-sounding, not just pumping. been a little too hard on the compressor? anyways, keep working mate! good things will come in the end.

Thank you guys for listening my track and post comments :-)

When I've done another conversion to 192Kb for this site, I've forgotten to cut the ending before fading, it's why it was very long and repetitive... but you are right it miss some variation (e.g. a break).

I see what you mean for the "random" notes, I've played this melody on my AZERTY keyboard and done a quick Quantization and the Z3TA sound had an arpegiator :-D

So I have to continue my quest for quality :-D

Cheers.
