It has not been decided what will replace RUSH at the time of writing. RUSH presenter, Tom Brown says “Its been fantastic compiling and presenting RUSH for the past 4 years. Very much a labour of love for me. I’d like to think we have delivered some great upfront radio…certainly in a style that sounds different to anything else on Australian radio, (in true Nova tradition). I hope though that we will be able to deliver RUSH in some other way at some other time in the future. It has been a strong associate brand of Nova and has introduced a lot of new listeners to the station. I’m sure that whatever replaces RUSH on Nova 969s Saturday nights will be great radio. I want to thank everybody for listening, especially to all our regulars. I hope we have in some way made Saturday nights a worthwhile listen with our different style of presentation and music.
