Cuba

Do you guys think cuba is gonna be out of the "third world" country status any time soon?

What areas (political, social, economical) in Cuba do you guys think is being the weakest link in strong development?

I think i read somewhere that cuba has a high GDP (or was it low GDP with high PLQI?), so socially cuba seems to be doing fine?

Is it the politics that is hindering Cuba towards development???

What strategies did Cuba try to bring itself out of the third world status?

Wat do u guys think are the leading hindrances to development today?

Thanks!! I really need help, I am writing an essay and I need some background info, its really hard to look up info on these specific things
