[Hard Psytrance]The Darkone - Ravenlock (Cybernetika Remix) {192kbps, full}

Hiya
This was my first remix and I've spent a lot of really hard work on it, completely thrown away the first concept and reworked everything again. My decision was to convert the original track into a kinda hard psytrance track with a hard bassline and sharp, screaming non-melodic synthlines.
Thanks a lot to The Drow aka TheDarkone for letting me remix his excellent track (thx for tha .flps )... please also have a listen to the original version of the track here: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=246340

Some Info on the tune:
Genre: Hard Psytrance
Length: 8:33 mins
Size: 12 MB
Bitrate: 192kbps
Equipment used: Fruity Loops 5, ReFX Vanguard, Linplug Albino, Audiorealism Bassline, Spectrasonics Atmosphere

Finally, the Link:
Download The DarkOne - Ravenlock (Cybernetika Remix)

Enjoy it and please give me some comments about this one

Cool panning, and intro was dark and sweet, though not dj friendly(they could skip ahead to the kick or something if they wanted).

For my taste, not enough to keep my intrest in teh first 2 minutes.

production wise, it sounds good!

I heard a pop or click right at: 2:47(not to be nit picky)

for the style, it's sounds good to me

I'd like the kick to be just a little meatier, and maybe a snare on the 2 & 4 beat early one, but maybe that's not the style you wanted.

I think there needs to be more layers, it still seems a little repetative to me(even though it changes pace and stuff here and there)

Overall, I thought it was a pretty cool dark track it starts to get a lot more interesting at about 7 minutes in.

if you have a chance, check mine out:

Intro's pretty cool.

I don't really like the overuse of kick rolls that seems to be going on about halfway through. Kinda distracting. It's good for transitions and all that, but it doesn't really supplement the groove well.

cool intro. it would be a lot cooler without the hihats i think. Really a lot of cool fx and synths. The outro is kinda lame in my opinion. really a lot of cool stuff here.

Psy Trance is noy my cup of tea, but it doesn't mean I can not appreciate a good work.

It sounds good to my ears except (sometimes) the kick when it does the little roll, right there it hurts my ears and gets really annoying, I'll stick with the normal beat if I were you, you can variate with other things but mess with the kick , no no.

The bassline is well put, nice hihats , cymbals and FX are really cool.

I don't know much about this genre, it seems a bit too repetitive or gets repetitive after minute 4 or so, but maybe that is just the genre?

Anyways, good track production wise.

nice start. I love that freaky atmosphere.

0.45 bass drum enters. nice.
0.53 bass enters. Dont like it too much. too much treble, not enough 'bass'. needs more umph!
1.19 freaky layer
2:13 another freaky layer. This song seems driven by sound FX.
2.45 here were go... Now it's starting to sound good.
3.30 spinnen out
4.27 more energy. I still think this track needs more bass!
-percussion is OK.
5.50 interesting pads.
6.20 awesome!
7.10 layers come together well.

I like this track. Though I dont think it's up there with the other stuff of yours Ive listened too.

Cool, I've been looking forward to this one!

Awesome tune in the cybernetica style... good work mate. You really drive the original melody hard... totally psy'ed up so to speak. I really dig it. Mastering on it is great as always although I think those main synths could do with more emphasis somehow.

The mini buildups throughout work pretty well and at 7.11 it really kicks off for me.

This deserves to be played on some huge f@ck-off sound system. You are truly the master of wierdo psy alien soundscapes.

yay
here is my review:
The intro is really cool
You got the bass right after milions of tries. (it was really out of sync in the first tryouts])
I think you should add more punchy elements.
This track is fx based.
2:52 omg nice fx.
4:04 the transition is cool.
Atmosphere is really great.
I'm still expecting the lead
cool pads.
the lead isn't clear nuff to say oh thats ravenlock...
really great remix.
The intro can be a bit longer to be dj friendly
4.7/5
