Yep somebody did a rotary mod to a dnx1500 too.

Can anybody find the pics of that mod, I cant seem to be able to find them again? If so post them.

I've emailed Rane and made some suggestions... maybe a factory, 3-channel rotary will see the light of day.

I actually did this to my Gemini UMX 7, just to see if it
could be done After I found out it would work, I put
back the Faders.

I can bet, if Rane comes out with a Rotary Empath, they
will increase the price. Like it cost more to go from
faders to knob contours

I talked with someone from Rane a couple weeks ago about this.. I also sent them this suggested image which they r holding onto

Heres the Denon X1500 with Rotaries.



Anybody know what knobs the guy is using on that Empathy, not the actually pot itself, but the knob on top, looks good, would like to use that when I mod my X1500.

they look like the knobs from the A&H XONE:V6

those knobs are from radio shack

the knobs on the radio shack site are just remplacement.

the ones on the empath are atucal penny and giles knobs

he wanted to know where the knobs were from NOT the pots .. the knobs are from radio shack .. end of story

that is sweet...I'll mod mine if a set of good rotaries are available for it, that equal the P&G faders.
