There is something I must tell you, that I put in practice too.

Don't make remixes of professional tracks unless you are sure you can make it up to the standards of the original or better.
I'm sorry mate, but I'm really strict with remixes of professional tracks, because I always expect at least an equal job to the original, and this is not the case.

The main melody is too simple, not layered at all, I thought that maybe by the minute 5 or so, something was going to be added, something that would make me feel like, "Whoa , impressive" but it never happened.

I don't know what programs you use, but at least use a decent synth for the main melody, there are plenty of free VSTi plug ins out there that you can use to better this remix of yours.

The bassline is warm, I can give you that, the track itself is decent, but for a remix, it is a bad imitation.

First of all, I disagree with PDM.
I think remixing is a good way to learn how to make something on your own. If you are new to things, don't expect the result to be breathtaking, but just a as a progress of improvement. The melody is already written, you just gotta learn to produce it. One thing less to focus on.

Now back to your remix.
The beat is allright, the volume on the snare roll is too high. Same with the noise fx. Like Elujin said, it's an ok tune.

I think you misunderstood me pal, i've never said it wasn't a good way to learn, because it is, what I said is that if you ever remix a track of a commercial track, you better make sure the remix you are releasing is up to the expectations, that is all, otherwise keep working on it until it is at that standard.
