Cue sheets and how they work?
I just learned about cue sheets...and am not sure how they work? Do i need a special cd burning program? I have nero which quite frankly I think sucks. Anyways how does it work and does this automatically split your sets into tracks?? This would help out tremendously for those big sets.. Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Get CDRWin from www.goldenhawk.com and read the help files on how to make your own cues. For most livesets you'll have to make your own... so just follow the template that comes with CDRWin. You can use Nero to burn with cue files, but I like CDRWin much better.

Fireburner is also quite good for burning and making cuefiles.

I have Nero and yes it takes awhile to burn a CD with separated tracks, but I think that Nero probably one of the best burning softwares out.
For easier use of cue sheets you would use CDRWin or Fireburner, since they both support cue files. Just make sure that they program is compatible with your burner.
Otherwise, Nero takes about an hour or two to make one CD. Using the track splitting way. It takes a little longer but you get even results, and besides none of those two programs are compatible with my burner. I'm screwed no matter what.
Good Luck

hi maybe i can help
i had the same problem you can burn cues in nero its just a little step goto file then burn image.
youl get a new screen to find a nrg file (neros img file thingo) simply change that menu at the bottom to read "all files" then find your cue and if its right and you double click it will load straight away... since nero suppourts mp3 burning too if its an mp3 it WILL read it (trust me i sat there for like 10 minutes) but it takes a shit load of time and it seems like its locked... it hasnt its just converting it from mp3 to the cd format i think... i think... but anyway it comes back after like 5 mins but if its wave it load straight away! hope that helps!

Cdrwin, Fireburner and Nero ... All these programs can burn cue sheets, but i have problems with all of them:
Cdrwin: I cant find a workable patch or a cracked version. They all burn corrupt Cds ... can anyone help me? (please !!!)
Fireburner: Always makes buffer underrun. It just works with 4x speed and sometimes with 8x speed.
Nero: Really a good sotware, but it always tells me the project is to big when i try to burn a cue sheet or other errors. Even after i converted the mp3 to a wave and changed the *.cue ...
