Stanton Displays New Corporate Image and Products at NAMM!

Hollywood, FL, January 25, 2005 - Stanton debuted a new corporate image and product line with a striking new industrial design at the NAMM trade show in Anaheim, Ca. on January 20-23. The company's new logo and corporate identity were unveiled for the first time in a brand new booth, which was all the buzz at the show.

Along with the new booth, Stanton debuted an entirely new line of DJ gear ranging from turntables and CD players to mixers and accessories. The new turntable lineup is now called the "T-Series." All models include dual Start/Stop buttons, a removable LED target light, slipmat and cloth dust cover. The top of the range T.120 model puts the award-winning direct-drive motor from the STR8-150 into a more affordable design with eye-catching looks. The digital T.80, the direct-drive T.60 and belt-drive T.50 round up the product line.

For CD-based DJs, Stanton now offers two professional tabletop models (C.304/303) and two new rackmount models (C.504/503).The C.304 boasts a touch-sensitive platter for scratching, six onboard effects that synchronize to BPM, seamless looping, four hot cue buttons and sampling with a built-in pattern sequencer. The C.504 offers similar features—plus full MP3 support—in a rackmount design with oversized jogwheels for more natural scratching effects.

Stanton's new mixer line now consists of two tabletop models, the 3-channel M.304/303 and three new rackmount mixers, the 4-channel RM.406/404 and RM.402. The M.304's tabletop design features die-cut aluminum side panels that match perfectly with Stanton's new turntables and tabletop CD players. It boasts dedicated 3-band EQ per channel with kill switches, an FX loop and a high-quality Penny & Giles crossfader. The new RM.406/404 put loads of inputs and outputs into a convenient 5U rack design. Both models feature Stanton's new diffused LEDs, backlit buttons and innovative Illuminknobs (tm) that make it easy to mix in a dark environment. The flagship 406 model also includes a crossfader curve adjust, FX loop, and a Subwoofer output with built-in crossover.

Suffice it to say, 2005 should be an exciting year for DJs as Stanton begins to ship all of these new products in the coming months. Stay tuned here at StantonDJ.com as more information is posted. And get ready to experience the new look and feel of Stanton.

They have been selling those TTs for about a month already,

The t50 is about $180
t60 $260
t80 $350

Thats around what they go for here. They don't sell the t120 though or the mixers and cdplayer... Don't stanton tables have reliability issues already without resorting to cheaper parts??

It is very hard to polish a turd.....

sometimes it smears

Those rackmount things dont really do anything that denon rackmounts havent been able to do for years , and pretty much every cd played on the planet will do nowadays.

Dual Start/Stop buttons? Utterly pointless!
A removable LED target light? Useless unless you are stevie wonder..

The fact that their last headphones had blue leds that flash with the beat (what, so the person stood behind you can tap their foot in time, or perhaps you can see them flashing out of your ears) kind of illustrates what sector of the market this is aimed at.......

/critical mode

Lets face it, Technics is the industry standard for turntables, and Pioneer for Cd players.
Everyone else has a very hard game of catch up to play- which they will not win!!!!!

That is true... It seems to me though that there is another player in the field that can stand it's own ground and that would be vestax...
Stanton numark etc don't have anything that can compare.

I see that vestax makes a cd player that looks very nice, and is quite affordable... but I haven't read one review or comment on it.

Yea gotta face it, the standards are set for along time now I think, IMO it will take about 15 years to get a Technics replacement, not due to anything todo with technology, but todo with a some of todays decks still working 15 years from now, then clubs could possible be interested in taken them on in clubs, although there are some clubs that use other gear without any problems.

this post is absolutely golden.

it makes you think, if you were on the board of directors for stanton and they pitched these ideas, and you responded with exactly what you said here,

i cant help but feel they would have gone...

'yea you're right. what a phucking stupid idea. HAYYY GUYZ, lets go and make a turntable that is built as good a 1200'
