Here's a song I did with fruityloops.. still very basic but I can't really think much else I could do with it.. plus the bass seems to stay a problem in this song.
I let a dj on my school play it in the "springparty" but the crowd reacted very positive.. still.. Im not satisfied with this.. can anyone help me?

That kick is just too outdated... Sounds really fruity to me. I like what you did with the begining bass, but you maybe need to build some energy around it. It just sounds too muddy right now. I like the sequencer at 1:45, but I think you should hold that one longer. I don't like the breakdown, it's not only too empty... the steel drums sound like total horror to me. maybe you should give it a really dirty filter or something. And after the break, the real bass comes in. Too loud, imo. Really need to polish up your track, dude. I do like the melody, but the bass (after the breakdown) is just too loud if you compare it to the kick

I wasn't too sure about the steeldrums too you know.. I just wanted to be original .. still im positive that there should be a break with perclike things in it.. yea your right about the volume too..

Secodn time today this has happened. I type a reply, then either, i forgot 2 put a title in, or i posted a reply to another thread within 20 seconds of pressing submit on this thread, and i get a message telling me that i couldn't post, but then the message i typed has vanished, meaning i have to either type it out again, or not reply. Very annoying, posted in the Suggestions about this.

In regards to the song, i agree entirely with Messiah.

the song ended but i didn't hear a bass line. One would thicken this track up loads.

The steel drums, i think you should replace the drums with a lead synth or something, anything but the steel drums lol.

But its definatly better than my first song, which was just a bunch of crazy noises.
