Cari Lekebusch (Sweden) is coming to Canada....

but no Montreal stop this time..

I can't really complain.. where he *is* supposed to play (Comfort Zone in Toronto on April 3) I wouldn't be crazy about anyway.. most definitely not for a road trip. Not sure if he is playing at night or in the a.m. sketch shift.. but I can see him playing a bit more on the electro-ey-spacey-minimal-esque than the bangin' stuff he puts out on labels like Drumcode. (at the big european festivals though he plays the GOOD stuff)

Anyway.. I'm just a bit sad.. with more notice and different venue I would definitely go the distance for either Cari or Joel Mull!
been a long time since those 2 played montreal.. Sona I think.

curious to hear the reviews if any 416 techno snobs check it out.

ya I remember he was supposed to be doing a 'north america' tour last fall but it didn't pan out. I actually even considered a crazy idea that would have brought him to ottawa and wouldn't have cost all that much.. but guess we will never know!

Ottawa that is.. hehe.. Martin.. I have faith!
Looking forward to May 7 though!

SO he didn't end up playing Toronto, Greg Gow did instead.. but apparently he played a smokin' set in NYC on Friday!!

and.. he is chillin' in NYC for the next few weeks.. damn what a tease.
well if nothing else he will hopefully have a fresh set broadcast on Gotham Grooves anyway.
