tickets
Groove has tickets at $20 and $25. The VIP are $25 do they get you any closer to the stage? or is just the deck and bar?
I love Paul I saw him in Kansas City a couple years ago when he opened for Moby, had a great time!

Usually there's no point in getting a VIP ticket for Lizard, since the VIP area is no bigger than the bathroom stall. But since the party will be setup outside, we can't tell how they might organize the VIP. But if an extra $5 can let you bypass the lines, then what the hell....

Yeah I was bummed to hear Oakey was playing the same night as Nu-NRG. A few of my friends are going to this instead..but its all good. I wasn't impressed with Oakie's set at Ultra at all....in my very humble and honest opinion..his Ultra slot shoulda been given to Gabriel and Dresden, who actually deserve to play at such an event.

Here's my .02 cents.
The first part of Liquid's set was ok, but the last hour was pretty fun.
He started playing to the crowd and got them ready for Oakie.
I can't ID most of the tracks but it seemed like a lot of them had male vocals.
I recongized "Crayons - Starkid" and two tracks before it was a really killer song, no ID, sorry.
Oakie opened with "Your eyes - Dogzilla" and the crowd went crazy.
The second track sounded like "Perfect Silence - Blank & Jones" w/o the vocals. I've heard most of the other tracks he played, but I can't ID them right now.
Overall, me and my girl had a good night. We met some nice people at the show and enjoyed the music.
