So the dilemma is...
started seeing a girl not long ago (month or so)... she seems to really want a relationship (as do i, but most likely not with her though...)
sounds bad but there's compatibility problems, some of them pretty fundamental.
don't think it's fair to her to keep seeing her if i'm this sure things will fail anyway.

question is, do i bite the bullet and just break up with her now, or do i just do enough things to irritate her so she breaks up with me and then doesn't feel rejected. (she had a really bad breakup a year ago that really messed her up.)

Better to just be honest. She's going to get hurt either way. Don't be a pussy.

Better to tell her now and be done with it. Don't punk out and try to get her to break up with you, that's the lowest of the low. Just be honest, tell her that while you think she's a good person she just isn't what you're looking for right now. While this may upset her it is the best and easiest way.
