Get rid of TT's and get a program? I've never known anyone to do that - there's always a first. What are you gonna do with the records?

Most clubs have cd djs now; but I still dont understand. How are you going to practice with the mixes you come up with? Or do you own cd djs also? Plus how are you going to keep your skills up to date with out TT's?
Regardless, good luck to you!

Traktor is a very good pice of software, but I wouldn't sell my gear for it (if I had one). Actualy I'm saving money for my mixer and cds, and hope that I would give up Traktor. Just my oppinion.

Anyway it's up to you what you decide to do with your tables.

PS: Maybe you shoud've post this before selling them.

haha, wow- mucho responso

Well first off i sold my tables for $120 more than i bought them for, and I'm flying to europe in about a month and can't bring all my records with me. This will allow me to take my laptop and my external hardrive anywhere- i can plug and play into virtualy any system + starting to spin on cdj's. That and the fact that vinyl will be obsolete by 2012 as vinyl production will be illegal by 2009 due to environmental laws being put into effect as of 2007...
I wish i could have kept my tt's and bought programs, but I needed money for tracktor and the bunches of digital mp3's i'm gonna start buying...
I think its time to start going digital, skills will come with practice- and i can still practice my tt skills on other systems...

i actually think its a great idea u got that... this way its not like you shelled out money for a cruddy beginner system u may or may not like... and then u can decide after a few months if this really for you, and then get some real good shit... i did the same exact thing only i went with pcdj, saved all my money over the summer and got my "real" set up

Read the original post...he already had a set-up and sold them. He knows how to spin already. Mikey likes it.
