Sequencing question

Hey all,
Im using FL Studio to write some tracks but my CPU is sorta finding it tough going - so im trying to export each of my sounds i.e. kicks, hats, bassline to Cubase SX so i can sequence my track and add effects and compression...
But...this is where im having problems - i cant get each of my sounds to "line up" if you know what i mean. In FL u can see where each kick, hat etc.. occur therefore u can line up all your beats and it will sound the way you want it to, but in cubase everything sounds out of time and like some of the samples are playing at a different tempo or somethin!!! i dunno its really frustrating
Should i use some other type of sequencer or how can I sequence my track properly in Cubase
Thanks a million!

Do you export loops with kick, hihats and claps etc. together or one and one?
If you do it one and one i'll explain what you need to do. But, the simplest is to export loops with all the percussion elements.

You need it set to Event and to put effects on seperate samples, just right click on the sample and then add it like that.

Check that the snap tool button is switched on to!

Try the "split mixer tracks" in the FL export option,it will be much easier!

This is along the same lines, my question that is. I'm running SX1 and I do have the snap on, I'm quite familiar with this facility from this and other software. The only problem is a lot of my MIDI sections don't sit where they are supposed to. They look fine but when you zoom in you see they are off by around 1/32 or 1/16. And this happens even though I have the snap set to bar or beat depending on what I'm doing. It happens both when I paste something at the left indicator (which reads from the transport bar at being at the correct point) and also when I ALT-drag the thing I want copied or when I simply move the MIDI section.

Any ideas why my snap isn't functioning?

Man, that is the best description of a good trance set I ever heard...
