Being afraid to talk infront of a group of people is perfectly normal. I have to give presentations all the time and I always get a little nervous even after doing this for years.

The best advice I could give is that you need to realize that you know more about the subject you are presenting then anyone else in the room. Honestly, you're the one presenting so you must be the one who knows the most about it, right? Once you understand that you are the best educated person in the room, about your particular subject, then you should realize that even if you make a mistake nobody in the room is equiped to call you on it. If you can convince yourself of this then your fear should be reduced to a minimum.

Well thats the thing. Im perfectly aware taht I know the most about the subject/topic. another thing; they are all my friends so they wouldnt even judge me IF i did mistakes.

There are many types of social disorders, like some people studder when speaking in front of alot of people. But since its just speaking in front of alot of people and nothing else then u prob dont have one but if u think u do talk to some type of counselor or psychiatrist. I often feel a little nervous speaking in front of a large group of people especially when I dont know them moreso because I really dont know what to expect from them and theyre reactions but im a paranoid person in general.

it's good to be a bit nervous when doing presentations, that way you'll keep yourself sharp and concentrated on your subject/presentation (a teacher told me this once). But as with everything else, too much of it can screw things up

What level of fear are we talking about? Is this a debilitating fear or an annoyance fear?

Also, what exactly is your fear? Saying you're afraid to speak to a group is somewhat vague. If you could be more precise in what your fear is it may help.
