I've got my views on politics, but I know very little about the subject. To me, all politicians seem to do is argue against whatever point has been put forward simply because they think there's a large majority of people out there who will agree with them, not because they actually think that it's the best course of action for the country.

Which is why I'm gonna run for Prime Minister when I'm about 40. I can sort this place out good and proper if I was given the chance. Politicians are so scared of being hated by the public for saying the wrong thing, or being politically incorrect, but I wouldn't give a flying monkey's brass ones to be honest. If it needed doing to sort the country out, it's gonna get done.

I'll probably be voting for Labour, but I haven't really read anything that any party has said in detail yet.

Why is it that southern English folk are the only people who seem to give a toss about the Tories?

nope

personally i think if its a good turn out then labour will win, poor turn out tories have more of a chance but i still cant see it happening as things are atm.

Labour are the best of a bad bunch imo. The tories and the lib dems are both useless, whereas labour are in there now and although some things could be improved the country certainly hasnt fallen apart with them in charge and im quite happy to keep it that way.

i feel that whoever gets voted in wont keep to their promises.

blair says that he wants to reward those who work hard and are honest, law abiding citizens, but all i hear everyday is 'mr & mrs chavpikeyillegalimmigrant from brentford with 62 kids get paid 40k a year in taxpayers money for doing fuck all' and 'man gets abducted by 5 armed thugs', doesn't exactly inspire confidence in labour does it.

Excuse me for being selfish here, but i want to vote for someone where I am going to see some benefits, like taking mr & Mrs chavpikeyillegalimmigrant's 40k benefits away and repairing some roads with the extra cash, or putting some extra police on the streets, or maybe even lower petrol prices, or give me a tax break so i don't have to count the pennies and use my credit card every month.

As it stands right now, i think i'm gonna go with conservative, they seem to have the right approach to immigration, crime and benefits. I also think that someone else desrves a chance

But Labour and the Tories are basicly the same thing these days, apart from the Tories want to part pay rich peoples private health care (growth in private health care = lost doctors from the NHS...).

Plus Labour have a proven record.

Personally I want the Lib Dems to do well more than the Tories. Atleast they are honest (saying they will up tax for some people) and don't play games just play policy.

Obviously they won't "win" but I belive they are the least "yah boo" party and that can only be a good thing.
