Well he's got to do what he's got to do. Since he said he is really busy, it's best not to commit to another remix, even if it is for U2. The last thing he wants is to say yes and end up making a shitty remix because he had to rush to meet a deadline.

True, but there is probably a good reason why he turned them down. Perhaps he has obligations to fulfill for his record label, he probably wouldn't want to piss them off.

if they want it so badly they'll ask him again, or offer more money.

many remix contracts have specific song requirements...

why do u think primal scream barely ever gets to remix anyone...

cuz no one will know what the fuck will happen to their song...

most remixes are made to order in a sense..

"I've given up on remixes. It's been getting out of control.

"I don't have time any more. I was coming home with a deadline hanging over my head to do remixes and I needed a couple of days off.

"U2 wanted me to work on their song CITY OF BLINDING LIGHTS, which is a brilliant song which lends itself quite well to an electronic remix. I was gutted, but I had to turn them down.

"My main focus is on my live shows and recording new material."
