and upon further though, the funniest scene (for me at least) was the singing ventriloquists scene
i was practically dying throughout that entire scene

I started watching it hungover, then watched it sober, then watched it drunk and never found it to be funny. Mel Brooks has set a high standard for ripoffs and how clever they should be and between scenes being filmed for too long, the lack of cuts, the just-a-bit-stupider-than-stupid-enough-to-be-funny lines and imagery, the dealing with stereotypes in a stereotypical way...I just couldnt make myself enjoy it :\
