I'm going to Ottawa May 6th for the weekend, take one of those nights and go to Montreal to check out Green Velvet, I think it's that friday. Suffice to say, it'll be an expensive enough trip, leaving me a little broke afterwards (damn school). I was wondering if anyone would be driving up to Swirl, and had room for +1. Or some idea of how to get there cheaply.

Hey zoki...I normally drive to Montreal about once a month (when my fiancee doesn't come to TO) and I'd be game to take you over but it just so happens that I'm going on April 29th, so I won't be going again the next weekend. You are prob looking for a ride from Ottawa, tho, right?

Anyway, if you have future plans don't hesitate to ask me and I might be planning on going to MO at the same time.

Cheap trip: taking the "Coach Canada" bus (I think the company is Trentway-Wagner or something) and it costs less than $50 one way for a student...$95 for round trip. Trip time: about 5.5-6 hours.

The bus sounds pretty cheap. I didn't know the ride was that short, someone told me it was like 10 hours. The price is right too :P

yeeeesh...May 22 is the night I bring shame on to Illnada at whatever venue she choses (DD or DT)...so I'm gonna be busy in TO...sorry bout that!!! Maybe next time!

I live in Scompton so I go to Scarborough Town Centre...but it begins at the "Toronto Terminal" which I believe is at Bay and Dundas. It goes to the Berri-UQAM bus stop right at rue Berri and Ste. Catharine I think.
