Very cool. I flew it across the Atlantic thinking and saw London and France, but unfortunately no underpants. No Eiffel Tower either as it required a level of zoom that the satellites didn't currently have for that region of the globe.
Damn, tried Terraserver.com as well and came up empty handed.

There's really no need. In times of war, I believe the department of defense asks companies like keyhole and what not to cease updating their satellite services for certain regions. For example, I think you would be hard pressed to find a private company doing imagery surveys of Iraq and selling that data.
