Some of Nkondi's stuff is pretty interesting, but I really wouldn't call it relaxing, per se. I'm more of a rhythmic noise guy, myself. Guys like Converter and Imminent produce stuff more like my cup 'o tea.

I have a hard time listening to alot of harsher noise. i like alot of texture, not to complicated, but something that goes somewhere. I was actually supposed to go see Imminent along with some other industrial and breakcore artists tonight, but shit got really fucked up and i couldnt go.
you need noisician, he's pretty much addicted to it

Harsh noise has really been the only stuff I've been exposed to, save for a few Merzbow productions and various samples I've found on the net. It serves its purpose, when I need something aggressive. The less abrasive stuff is really nice, though.
Sucks that you couldn't see him, man. Imminent seems like an interesting dude to see live.

It is requisite to note that Xome's live performances have always had the pronounced tendency of being graringly picturesque and enthralling sight-wise. I've never seen anyone else evince so much emotional involvement with the activities they choose to engage in. While on stage, the guy literally radiates enthusiasm seemingly resulting from the ever-present state of exaltation he always appears to be in at that time. Just watching him perform should be suffice to discern his deep infatuation with what he does. And for that alone, I say kudos to the pedal noise master that is Xome.
