I have to agree. Althought I'm sure there are turntablists out that there are better than him technically, at the moment he really seems to be king.

zabiela is incredible, he is really pushing the boundries of digital creativity in all aspects with a certain open mentality and persistent approach to different types of electronic music which makes him so maleable when it comes to live performance. what scares me the most is that he is only 24, think about what he will learn by the time he is 30 and what type of technology will be availible for him to flex.

Hm, well, there are much better turntablists out there. But I think his track selection is very diverse, so I like him alot.

I'm sure there are much better turntablists tech out there than Zab's, but his track selections, mixing, and his productions are all a factor. i saw him not too long ago, and the dude had a huge smile on his face from teh start to the end of his set. this is one alien being that loves what he does.

i fucking love that set. i'd even go as far as saying it's my favourite set of all-time (not that i'm any kind of liveset criticism authority, i wouldn't say i've heard too many of them). however zabiela is just a very good dj, with some skills yes, with a great track-selection yes, but just a guy who mixes well. what he does, while hard, is far from "not real".
