Ok, for all those in the know, DJ SPHERE is doing a cracking job with the MP3 mixing competition.
That comp means that certain techniques and programs are not allowed, due to the PC doing alot of the work.

I'm looking to run a competition, when Sphere's isn't, using the banned techniques from his.

But instead of the three judging catogories being, beatmatching, melodics and Tracklisting, this one will be without tracklisting, and with Originallity.

Therefore you may use editors, samplers, loopers, cut and pasters, reverbs (ALL BEING PC ONLY BASED). This will mean you will submit highly edited mixes BUT, if it's an automatically created mix, it'll sound so and will be marked down due to LOW ORIGINALLITY.

This way pure talent in creativness will shine though.

I've never even experimented with this type of mixing, but this would sure be some motivation! I'm down!
