The Official Year End 2005 BT Appreciation Thread
It's that time of year- to once again, behold the true magical sensation that is Brian Transeau.
BT has been keeping it busy these past couple of years, and it's all for a good cause. As some of you know, he had scored Stealth and The Underclassmen for 2005. The Stealth scores being offered in its entirity at any good record store. Of course, too bad we can't appreciate the bad movies as much as the music
Anyway, as of late, there has been talks about releasing his 5th studio album (which might be labeled as something other than BT, think atmospheric bliss in 5.1 with visuals *animation/film* included), working on his 6th album (a complete instrumental, rock-ish type collab) and another album that is said to be directed at the dance scene, however not much has been reported with that one as of yet. In between all that, he's currently working on a film Catch & Release, I believe he's finishing that one up.
He's been performing & writing material for the past while, it's too bad we don't get him here before he starts touring some of his upcoming albums next year. But I'm patient...
Well, that's a large sum of material right there and I'm anticipating it all (maybe even the rock stuff, it depends). So there you have it, the master behind your classics such as Flaming June, Godspeed, & Mercury and Solace-- as well as true classics such as Quark, Sunblind, Love in the Time of Thieves, Fibonacci Sequence, & The Hip Hop Phenomenon... bringing it to you hard for the year 2006! Much love and support for Brian, show your appreciation people!
P.S.
Oh and by the way, Tiesto had approached BT recently to produce his next album, so that's on discussion...
-musse (& I'm still searching for his pants... for those of you who were around long enough to remember the joke ;p)
