It may be just me, but I've noticed a lot of ads, for people's vinyl's and gear cluttering up the site, and for some reason I got in a "flame war" so to say, over saying that people shouldnt post ads in the dj section, cause it pollutes the board.

After I had told the person that I didnt think he should be posting ads, and he responded with telling me to go cry about it, JD Dark (Board Moderator) asked him to

Although I know many people are always excited to see what people have to sell, often too many people are selling, or asking for stuff.

It just makes me frustrated because I see it as disrespect to the rest of us, who would rather not bother with ads, and other junk for we see that enough everyday, everywhere else we go. Although their aren't any real rules against posting ads inside a forum, I take it as a sense of courtesy, that one should not... and by creating a section dedicated to gear/vinyl/cds/etc... music discussion, could talk about music, dj section can talk about styles of djing and new equipment, and the Ad board can do all the advertising of their gear, they want -- thanks for the consideration
