my friend gave me this serial cable to connect my phone to the pc. it's the crappy type with no cd or anything. I connected it to the pc and my phone and tried to browse using nokia pc suite, but it didn't work (no connection).
anyone know how I can get this thing to connect?
maybe download a driver or some program?

when u install Nokia PCSuite, the software install its Nokia drivers on your computers, and they are used by PCSuite to connect your mobile phone, if u don't have these one, you computer won't connect your cell phone

sorry, I didn't get you.
I have pc suite installed and that's not enough. you mean I should look for the drivers separately?
this cable came with no cd or anything.

btw, my phone is 6230 if it matters
