I went to the 10:00pm show. Pretty packed. I was told like 20 tickets away from being sold out. The movie ran about for almost 2 hours. Those damn previews ran up to 30 minutes long before the movie started. It was a rather interesting film. I think Tom Cruise did a decent enough job. Graphics went to a whole new level of realism, but you could tell in a few scenes that the gfx didn't blend in with the real-time. A few comic reliefs. Girls in the theater screaming at non-scary scenes. Don't want to spoil anything else, but overall I give the movie a 4/5. Anyone else see it?

Saw it last night, made me want to die. it was really good and really intense. definitely on the edge of my seat 20 min into the movie and you don't really stop the entire way. i really liked morgan freeman as the narrator at the beginning and end of the movie. i also liked how you were with ray's character the entire way of the movie. those tri pods were badass. they were friggin scary lookin before they started doing what they do.

In the beginning there was Jack. And Jack had a groove. And from this groove came the groove of all grooves. And while one day viciously throwing down on his box Jack boldly declared "Let there be house!" And house music was born. I am the creator and this is my house and in my house there is only house music. But I am not so selfish because once you enter my house it then becomes our house and our house music and you see no one man owns house because house music is a universal language spoke and understood by all. You see, house is a feeling that no one can understand really unless you're deep into the vibe of house. House is an uncontrollable desire to jack your body and as I told you before this is our house and our house music. In every house you understand, there is a keeper and in this house the keeper is Jack.

saw it last night at 9:30. The first half was some of the most tense movie watching ever. Everyone was raving about how good Dakota Fanning was. She kind of annoyed me...but I think it was more her character than her acting. Tom Cruise really did a great job. As for the special effects....its a Spielberg film and he didn't let us down. My one complaint was the ending...it was a little confusing and rushed...I still don't know what the hell Tom Cruise was yelling to the Army guys about the birds. Anyway, two thumbs up!

except on the two thumps up
The beginning was funny and intense but by the middle and end...youre like "get to the *oddammn point". There was abosolutely NO plot to this movie. People are saying about how you have to compare it to the book or when it was written...which probably 3/4 have never ever read....to understand the bases of the movie. But I say fuck that...The movie sucked!!!!
This movie was probably one of the crappiest Tom cruise and SSberg moive I have ever seen. The FX were ok but Minority Report was still a whole lot better (FX wise).
Do yourself a favor and wait til it hits DVD...it will be there in a month Im sure
